Romeo and Juliet
One of my all time favorite things is this part of Romeo and Juliet...My husband said this too me as we courted from different states over the phone...I fell in love with it...
JULIET:
'Tis almost morning. I would have thee gone--And yet no farther than a wanton's bird,That lets it hop a little from his hand,Like a poor prisoner in his twisted guives. And with a silken thread plucks it back againSo loving-jealous of his liberty.
ROMEO:
I would I were thy bird.
JULIET:
Sweet, so would I.Yet I should kill thee with much cherishing.Good night, good night! Parting is such sweet sorrowThat I shall say good night till it be morrow.
ROMEO:
Sleep dwell upon thine eyes, peace upon thy breast! Would that I were sleep and peace, so sweet to rest.

I learned these lines from a one act play called "The Valiant". I directed it while in school. And I also played the role of the man on death row.
A girl thinks she recognizes her long estranged father in a news article about him being put to death, and she arranges a visit to him to see if he really is her father. She talks to him, asks him many questions, and he denies being her father time and again. Finally, she tells him there was something her father used to say with her every night before bed...and she begins:
Good night, good night. Parting is such sweet sorrow, that I should say good night till it be morrow...
...and the man says nothing in return, claims to know nothing of what she speaks.
So the girl gives up and leaves.
And after she is gone, he finishes their dialog:
Sleep dwell upon thine eyes, peace upon they breast, would that I were sleep and peace, so sweet, to rest.
And then he continues with his dialog with her, as they walk him down the hall to the electric chair, about how cowards die many deaths, but the valiant never taste of death but once.
But even today, those words remind me of what a sacred love conveys. Parting is such sweet sorrow. And oh how I wish that I were sleep and peace and could dwell on thine eyes and in they breast, beloved.
Oh how I cherish you, dear sweet soul-sharer! Oh how I hold you up above ALL THINGS!!!
